Award-wining magazine My Little Black Book is celebrating World Gin Day by featuring the top five artisan gins and where to drink them. Peony’s Blue Lady Negroni with D1 London Gin is listed as the perfect aperitif for the summer.
Rasa Gaidelyte from the Peony bar at Opium Dim Sum and Cocktail Parlour in London’s China Town created the Blue Lady Negroni for her new summer menu, which is inspired by the orient.
For this light and subtle Negroni, Rasa infused D1 London Gin with blue lady tea which creates fruity finish and blends with Italian sweet vermouth to leave a hint of grapefruit.
Visit Rasa at Peony to taste the cocktail in a stunning crystal rocks glass. To make yourself, combine 25ml of D1 London Gin infused with blue lady tea with 25ml of Campari and 25ml of Italian sweet vermouth. Serve over ice and garnish with orange.
