D1 London Gin provided cocktails for Glass Magazine’s 5th anniversary and London Fashion Week party at the Opium Cocktail and Dim Sum Parlour in London’s China Town. Serves included a special created version of an Aviation, our take on a Bramble and a daringly dry Fino Martini.
Here are the details of the serves.
A high-flying version of an Aviation. Combine 50ml D1 London Gin with 20ml of lemon juice, 10ml of almond liqueur, 5ml of rose syrup and 5ml of crème de violette. Shake, serve in a highball glass and garnish with a lemon wheel, berries or flowers and icing sugar.
A stunningly dressed take on a Bramble. Combine 50ml of D1 London Gin with 2tsps of blueberry jam, 10ml of vanilla syrup and 25ml of lemon juice. Shake and strain into a highball glass. Garnish with blackberries, lemon wheel and icing sugar.
This serve substitutes exceptional fino sherry for vermouth to produce a daringly dry Martini. Stir 50ml of D1 London Gin with 10ml of fino sherry and 5ml of Maraschino liqueur. Garnish with a lemon twist.
